OKay... since i am leaving in 30 minutes... i thought it'd be a good time to post a blog ... I've warn you about me not posting very often, didn't i? (No...) anyways, so i'll be joining Norm and the rest of the bunch in 4 hrs... gonna watch minority report tonite ;) then rock climbing and/or tennis tomorrow... aw , life is good =)... And after i get back to Seattle, my cousins (ranging from age 3 to 25... chinese families are cool =), grandparents, and assorted relatives =P will also be visiting Seattle... the next 2 weeks is prob. the most exciting part of my summer le =)
work is a little boring still, but pay checks are good. if didn't know already, i get the entire next week off because Siemens forces its employees to take the week off to use up their vacation days... to save money, or somethin'...
Trying to decide which laptop i should buy... too many choices...
hmm.... i really should change my template... but i am just too lazy =/...
anyways, hope ppl have a nice fireworks day... (do u say "one nation" or "one nation under God" in California? seems like each state has its own pledge or somethin). hopefully Goldengate bridge won't be bombed/nuked/hit_by_plane/etc on that day... at least not when we are watching fireworks on there...=P

http://www.fortune.com/indexw.jhtml?channel=artcol.jhtml&doc_id=208279&page=4
I interviewed with this reporter in April along with my BVW teammates...
the article sucks shit (especially when we are not mentioned in it at all), but this paragraph was good.

"Dating decorum will have to get ironed out too. Students don't date online per se--if there's any time in life you don't need help meeting people, it's college--but certain courtship, er, rituals are, um, digitally enhanced. Like stalking. Murray's housemate and friend Leah Miller describes a phenomenon known as "zmap, finger, Google, stalk" --in which a guy sees a woman at a computer, taps into a Carnegie Mellon program called zmap to get her user ID, runs the Unix finger command to get her name, calls up a Google search to find out all he can about her, and then starts badgering away. Just as in the world outside college, Google has become a tool of espionage. At least four kids I talk to tell me cheerily that they "Googled me" before agreeing to be interviewed. It's one thing when public relations executives check up on you; it's another when frat boys do."
